CIIC Call 4.19- Behind the Scenes on Catholic Impact with Catholic Relief Services

One of the goals of the Steering Committee for the Catholic Impact Investing Collaborative (CIIC) is to show the journey of many Catholic institutions from interest to implementation regarding impact investing. We believe these stories will help show other institutions and individuals how to move further in their own path towards holistic alignment of their investments with their values.

In support of that goal, the Steering Committee for CIIC have decided to host follow-up calls to our “Stories on Catholic Impact” series on the CIIC website. These calls will be titled “Behind the Scenes on Catholic Impact” and will feature key participants from the institutions featured in the Stories on Catholic Impact series sharing their perspective beyond what was written on the website and talking about some of the complex obstacles and innovations they encountered, overcame, and embraced along the way. This initial sharing will be followed by an opportunity for the participants on the call to ask questions to the speakers and to more broadly discuss their specific areas of interest. The calls will also feature brief updates on ongoing CIIC projects and a preview for upcoming calls, initiatives, and events.

Our first call will be Wednesday, April 19th at 10am CST. This call will be a discussion of the impact investing journey of Catholic Relief Services (CRS) and will feature Beth Collins, CRS’ Director of Impact Investing, and Pat Dinneen, CRS Board Member and CIIC Steering Committee Member. The dial-in number for this call is 719-325-2630 and the participant code is 530201.
